“I have had the pleasure working with Holly over the last 20 years. Holly has been instrumental in not only bettering birth at our hospital, but also in our community. We started talking about mindfulness childbirth education many years ago. We often spoke of the community need for a course that embraces confidence, connection and inner calmness and peace not just during birth, but also in pregnancy. Holly's class design has assisted families to dismantle fear, stress and anxiety that can often be experienced by many birthing people and their partners during pregnancy and birth. My clients that have taken her courses report they are grateful for her class and that they acquired tools and knowledge to embrace their labor no matter how it unfolded. I often suggest to clients to sign up early in pregnancy because Holly's classes emphasize the importance of reducing the effects of stress, cultivating a deep connection to body and baby, meditative techniques to help with birth and parenting and how to trust the body's innate birthing ability.

I met Holly when I was pregnant with my 8th baby. My husband and I attended her prenatal birth/yoga class. Holly’s approach to birth education was different than I had ever experienced. She focused not only on the physiology of birth, but also the emotional aspect and the importance of connecting with your baby, even before birth. The information in her class had such a positive impact on my birth and postpartum that I truly felt that every pregnant person needed access to this information. One coffee date evolved into us creating a podcast and filming her prenatal yoga video series. Eight years later and I am now a licensed home birth midwife. I continue to share the information that I learned from Holly with my birth clients. I remind them, as Holly reminded me, to connect with their baby during pregnancy and especially labor. I often chat with them about the babies experience during this process and the importance of trusting your intuition and tapping into the natural hormones during physiological birth. Holly has become a dear friend of mine that I love and respect. Her course is filled with the decades of experience she has working in the birth world, while tirelessly advocating for undisturbed, physiological birth. The information that Holly has to share is not just about having a peaceful birth experience. It sets the foundation for families to learn the importance of bonding and attachment before birth in order to fill the next generation of humans with secure and healthy attachment. I love you Holly and will forever be grateful for our friendship.
